MENL’S hydraulic bolt tensioning services get the job done faster, better, and safer and thereby minimizing costs and downtime. In addition, the risk of work-related injury is dramatically reduced during flange make-up or break-out. Using tensioners and link hoses, we can tension or de-tension all studs simultaneously from the safety of the operator console at the pump unit, speeding up the process, eliminating pinch point injuries and ensuring precise and equally distributed clamping pressure.

We have a complete line of bolt tensioning equipment in-house and technicians with many years’ experience in bolt tensioning. Our services include: pre-job walk-throughs, safety meetings, bolt tensioning services and final job reports including tensioning certificate.

Millennium Torque & Tensioning can provide you with a safe, spark-free solution with our line of Hydraulic Nut Splitting tools. Our tools have a compact design and can be operated off of standard air or 110v hydraulic pump. Whether you need to split nuts that are as small as 1-1/4”, or as large as 6-1/8”, our tooling has got you covered. All of our nut splitters are available to rent, purchase, or you can have our field service technicians come to your jobsite and do the job for you.

Pipe cutting is the process of cutting any size of pipe either perpendicular to its length or at an angle. There is no limitation to diameter or wall thickness. MENL’s range of cold cutting and weld prepping machines can quickly cut and weld prep pipes to a finish suitable for welding. Weld preps can be formed to any requirements, such as straight, 37.50, bevels and ‘j’ prep configurations.

Flange facing is a process of machining the faces of flanged and other types of pipe and vessel connectors. It is used to repair faces either damaged from impacts with other components during construction or installation or from corrosion and erosion due to turbulent flow or cuts from gasket leaks.

MENL in partnership with ABS can machine most sizes and types of flange from Raised Face to Ring Joints. We have O.D. Mount and I.D. Mount equipment so no matter the flange we can machine it in place, and all work is done to industry standards and specifications.

Pipeline Testing
We provide our customers with our professional technicians to perform a hydrostatic test, we furnish all equipment necessary to fill and test the line and the compressors, dryers and pigs to dry the line. We will also furnish the launchers and receivers necessary, the reports and PE certifications for the hydro tests. In the instance of a leak happening during a hydro test, our technicians can also find those pin-hole leaks while performing the hydro test.

Hydro testing is accepted as a means of:

+testing the strength of the pipeline
+removing defects of a certain size
+reducing residual stresses

Pipeline Decommissioning
Before decommissioning a line, operators must ensure that the retired line is safe and in full compliance with regulatory and industry requirements. Decommissioning a pipeline is a multi-step process that typically includes disconnecting the line from supply, removing the product, cleaning and then abandonment, inerting or full removal, and environmental re-instatement. MENL is well positioned to carry out decommissioning processes. Working with our technical partners, we have all tools and equipment ranging from cleaning tools that can push out liquids and clean the pipeline, to hot tapping and plugging.

Pipeline Cleaning
Debris and deposits in pipelines reduce product flow and if left unchecked can result in pipelines becoming blocked. A planned cleaning programme for pipelines can prevent the build-up of debris or deposits and therefore help ensure continuous product throughput is achieved. MENL provides production cleaning services for specific projects or as part of ongoing framework agreements, covering different aspects of pipeline pigging and flow assurance services.
